The MetalAce 44F U-weld English Wheel Kit
This kit provides all the components necessary to build the popular 44F, a go-anywhere wheeling machine to meet all your metal shaping needs. Use the supplied blueprints to build a replica of our frame, or add your own creativity and customize your frame and use our high quality wheels and components.
The included screw lift assembly has a quick-release cam mechanism that lowers the anvil yoke with a 90 degree rotation of the handle. This makes it easy to get the material out and return back to the original pressure setting, plus the anvils can be changed quickly in this fashion. The anvil yoke has precision adjustments on both sides of the axle support to true the anvil with the top wheel. (Material for the frame is not included.)
Check out the wheel designed by Jeff Fournier and built by one of our workshop students using this kit!
INCLUDES:
(6) 3 inch wide anvil wheels: Flat, 2.5, 3.75, 6.0, 12.0, and 24.0 inch radii
8 x 3 inch upper wheel
Jack, kick wheel, yoke, and hardware
Floor casters

MIG Welding is widely used, but few people really understand how each of the variables affects the finished weld. This program can be easily understood by a beginner, but it covers information even seasoned professionals can learn from. Ron Covell goes through the entire process step-by-step, and gives clear descriptions of how each factor affects the weld, including wire speed, voltage, stickout, gun angle, travel speed, and gas flow. He also covers plug welds, patch panels, welding aluminum, and using flux core wire.
You’ll especially enjoy the special bonus section on Plasma Cutting!

This program covers many advanced topics in TIG welding, including welding chrome moly steel, stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium, bronze, copper, and titanium. You’ll also learn how to weld castings made from aluminum, magnesium, and bronze. Clear guidelines are given for using the pulse and waveform adjustments that many new welders have, along with great practical advice on machine setup, joint preparation, and weld finishing.
Ron’s clear and detailed instructions are easy to follow, and the striking close-up photography shows you exactly what to look for as you weld!

Over cutter attachment (The overcutter curves over the welding tip to provide a PULL cut. It is used when cutting mild steel from 1/8″ – 1″. Also includes a guide wheel assembly for a steady hand while making long straight or pattern cuts. The rails can be staggered to perform angle or bevel cuts. They fit both the undercutter and the overcutter.
Under cutter attachment (Undercutter attaches under the welding tip for cutting thin sheet metal. This is generally referred to as a PUSH cut. It is used for cutting 28-16 gage 1/64″ – 1/16″ material.)
